LAST WEEK IN WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Lewis University women's basketball team traveled to Fayette, Iowa to take on the Peacocks of Upper Iowa University Saturday (Mar. 1) to finish up the regular season. The Flyers close out the regular season with a dominant win over the Peacocks, 84-58.

The Flyers head into the GLVC Conference Tournament as the number one seed as the Flyers avenged their regular season loss against the Bulldogs. The Flyers advance to the semifinals with a 77-61 win over the Bulldogs.

They will face the winner of (4) UMSL/(5) Maryville Saturday (Mar. 8) at 6 p.m. CT.

LAST WEEK IN MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Lewis University men's basketball team hit the road going to Fayette, Iowa and closed out the regular season with a loss in a double overtime thriller 103-99 against Upper Iowa. The Flyers head into the GLVC Conference Tournament as the fifth seed and will take on the fourth seed Lincoln University Friday (Mar. 7).

LAST WEEK IN MEN'S VOLLEYBALL
The Lewis University men's volleyball team continued their road game stretch playing Quincy University Saturday (Mar. 1) and Emmanuel University (GA) Thursday (Mar. 6). The Flyers defeated the Hawks of Quincy in a five set thriller, 3-2. The Flyers extended their win streak to six games with the win over Emmanuel University (GA), 3-1.

LAST WEEK IN WOMEN'S TRACK AND FIELD 
The Lewis University women's track and field team competed at the GLVC Indoor Championships on Saturday (Mar. 1) and Sunday (Mar. 2). The Flyers won the 2025 GLVC Indoor Track and Field Championships, making it their sixth consecutive year winning the event and their 12th title in program history. 

LAST WEEK IN MEN'S TRACK AND FIELD 
The Lewis University men's track and field team traveled to Indianapolis to compete at the GLVC Indoor Championships Saturday (Mar. 1) and Sunday (Mar. 2). The Flyers finished in second place as a team at the 2025 GLVC Indoor Championships. 

LAST WEEK IN BASEBALL
The Lewis University baseball team faced off against the Peacocks of Upper Iowa University in a weekend of doubleheaders Friday (Feb. 28) and Sunday (Mar. 2). The Flyers won the first doubleheader Friday (Feb. 28), 10-8 and 14-3. The Flyers finished the weekend flawlessly, taking the second doubleheader over the Peacocks, 3-2 and 7-3.

LAST WEEK IN SOFTBALL
The Lewis University softball team had a doubleheader against the Saints of Thomas More University Friday (Feb. 28). The Flyers won the first game 5-4 and then dominated the Saints in the second game shutting out the Saints, 25-0.

The Flyers then traveled to Harrogate, Tennessee to compete in the Abe's Invitational. The Flyers played Bloomsburg University and Elizabeth City State University Saturday (Mar. 1). The Flyers split the day losing to Bloomsburg, 3-2 and beating Elizabeth City State 11-1.

On Sunday (Mar. 2) the Flyers faced off against Bloomsburg again and Lincoln Memorial University. The Flyers came up short in two close games against Bloomsburg, 3-2 and Lincoln Memorial, 1-0.

The Flyers came back home to Illinois and hosted the Pride of Purdue Northwest in a doubleheader Wednesday (Mar. 5). The Flyers won both games of the doubleheader over the Pride 12-4 in the first game and got a shut-out win 6-0 in the second game.

LAST WEEK IN WOMEN'S LACROSSE
The Lewis University women's lacrosse team hosted the University of Findlay Friday (Feb. 28). The Flyers were down 9-4 at halftime against the Oilers.

The Flyers had a strong second half but were unable to pull off the comeback losing 11-10. The Flyers had another home game Wednesday (Mar. 5) against the Senators of Davis & Elkins College.

The Flyers put on a dominant performance in front of the home crowd, beating the Senators 18-2.

LAST WEEK IN MEN'S TENNIS 
The Lewis University men's tennis team traveled down to Springfield to take on the Panthers of Eastern Illinois University Saturday (Mar. 1). The Flyers suffered a tough loss against the Panthers, 7-0.

LAST WEEK IN STUNT
The Lewis University STUNT team spent the weekend in St. Louis, Missouri Saturday (Mar. 1) and Sunday (Mar. 2). On Saturday, the Flyers faced off against Drury University and East Stroudsburg University.

The Flyers came up short against Drury, 7-4 and lost to East Stroudsburg, 5-3. The Flyers played Maryville University and Southwest Baptist University Sunday (Mar. 2).

The Flyers lost to Maryville 12-1 but closed out their season with a win over Southwest Baptist, 8-0.

LAST WEEK IN WOMEN'S BOWLING
The Lewis University women's bowling team hit the road and traveled to Greensboro, North Carolina to compete in the Stallings Invitational Friday (Feb. 28) - (Mar. 2). The Flyers overcame a slow start at the Stallings Invitational after finishing Friday in 11th place, but climbed to seventh place after Saturday and went 3-0 Sunday to finish in fifth at the Stallings Invitational.
