ROMEOVILLE, Ill. -- The Lewis University baseball team lost to Quincy on Friday (April 11) 17-0 losing the first game of the four game series.

SUMMARY
The Hawks loaded the bases in the top of the first, but the Flyers held off the scoring in the inning.
The Hawks would score on an RBI single and a two-run homer in the top of the second. They would add three more runs in the top of the third and would go scoreless in the fourth.
An eight-run top of the sixth would make it a 14-0 game. Two runs in the top of the sixth and run in the seventh made it a 17-0 game.

Lewis will return tomorrow for a seven-inning doubleheader against the Hawks starting at 12:00 p.m.
