KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Lewis University women's lacrosse team was defeated by Rockhurst 20-7 Saturday (April 19) in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match.

SUMMARY
FIRST QUARTER: Rockhurst 5, Lewis 0
The Hawks scored three goals in the first five minutes of the game. They added a fourth goal at the 6:10 mark of the first quarter and the final goal of the quarter at 1:23.
SECOND QUARTER: Rockhurst 5, Lewis 3
Lewis got on the board 51 seconds into the period on Winterlik's 24th goal of the year. Rockhurst responded with a pair of goals over the next two minutes, but Procyk scored at the 11:03 mark to make it 7-2.
Three more Hawk goals gave them a 10-2 lead with 4:03 left in the half.
Heidi Sweeney (New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada/New Westminster) finished of the scoring for the half with her 39th goal of the year to make it 10-3.
THIRD QUARTER: Rockhurst 4, Lewis 3
The Flyers opened the scoring in the second half with the 36th goal of the year from
Eliana Cappellini (Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada/Burnaby North Secondary School) to make it 10-4. Two goals from the Hawks rebuilt their lead to 12-4.
Procyk's 14th goal of the year made it 12-5 before two more Hawk goals. Winterlik scored her second of the game with 1:56 left the period to make it 14-6 after three.
FOURTH QUARTER: Rockhurst 6. Lewis 1
Rockhurst scored the first six goals of the fourth quarter.
Ravyn Jimenez (Navarre, FL/Navarre High School) scored the final goal of the game with 10 seconds left to make it 20-7.
