Kansas City, MO. -- The No. 13 Lewis University baseball team lost the first game of a three day, four game series against the Rockhurst Hawks on Friday night (April 25).

SUMMARY
The Hawks controlled the pace of the game scoring first in the second inning with an RBI single up the middle. No more runs were scored until the fifth inning when the Hawks added on three runs to make it 4-0.
In the seventh,
Tyler Phommachanhom (Plainfield, Ill/Parkland CC) singled to lead off the inning and would score on a
George Bilecki (Chicago, Ill./Marist) single to left. Rockhurst responded with three more runs to make it 8-1.
Final run of the game would belong to the Flyers after Jake Hunley scored on a sacrifice fly from
Chris McDevitt (Chicago, Ill./St. Rita). The Hawks took game one of the series 8-2.
