Kansas City, MO. -- The No. 13 Lewis University baseball team lost their final game of the series against Rockhurst on Sunday (April 27) losing the series 3-1.

SUMMARY
Chris McDevitt (Chicago, Ill./St. Rita) and the Flyers took the first lead of the ball game when he singled down the first base line to send
Cole Nelson (St. Charles, Ill/Lenoir Rhyne) home for a 1-0 lead.
The Hawks then pitched effectively in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings, taking the lead with an 8-1 score.
Lewis bounced back in the seventh inning however.
Will Bruno (Upton, MA/UNC Pembroke) scored off of a Nelson double to left field.
After that
Tyler Phommachanhom (Plainfield, Ill/Parkland CC) singled to left field sending
Jackson Hunley (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) home to score. Nelson would come across home on a wild pitch and Phommachanhom would score as well on a Sac Fly by
George Bilecki (Chicago, Ill./Marist) to make it 8-5.
The Hawks did not allow anymore runs and put two more runs of their own on the board in the seventh and eighth to make it a 10-5 game.
