ROMEOVILLE, Ill. -- The (RV) Lewis University softball team won both games of a doubleheader against Lincoln Sunday (April 6). The Flyers took the first game 4-0 and the second 6-2.
GAME 1: (RV) Lewis 4, Lincoln 0

Lewis struck first in the third inning after
Kristen Graham (Mapleton, IL/Illini Bluffs High School) executed a suicide squeeze bunt single, scoring
Delaney Garden (Carpentersville, IL/Harry D. Jacobs High School), making it 1-0.
The Flyers extended their lead to 3-0 in the fourth inning when
Nicole Magdziasz (Tinley Park, IL/Providence Catholic High School) hit a two-run single to center, scoring
Grace Kmak (Mokena, Ill./Lincoln-Way Central High School) and
Kadence Baccam (West Des Moines, Iowa/Dowling Catholic).
Lewis added another run in the fifth inning, increasing their lead to 4-0.
Anna Frafjord (Sussex, WI/Hamilton High School) connected on her fifth home run of the season with a solo shot to right center.
Garden (16-5) earned the win in the circle after pitching a complete game shutout. She threw all seven scoreless innings, allowing only two hits and striking out 10.
GAME 2: (RV) Lewis 6, Lincoln 2

SUMMARY
Frafjord struck first for the Flyers in the second game with an RBI single to right, scoring Garden from second.
Erica Hoffman (Hebron, IN/Boone Grove High School) doubled the Lewis lead to 2-0 in the second inning when she hit her first home run of the season with a solo shot to left.
Baccam increased the lead again the following inning with a two-run double to center, scoring Hoffman and Frafjord, giving the Flyers a 4-0 advantage.
Lincoln got two runs back in the top of the fourth with a two-run home run to right field, making it 4-2 Lewis.
Lewis responded with one run in the bottom of the fourth after Frafjord drove home Garden with a RBI single to left. Garden increased the lead to 6-2 after her RBI single in the fifth, scored Baccam from second.
Wondrasek (14-4) recorded the win on the mound after going all seven innings, allowing five hits, two runs, walking two and striking out six.

Lewis will be back in action Saturday, April 12 as the Flyers travel to Lebanon, Illinois to take on No. 21 McKendree for a doubleheader starting at noon CT.
