PUEBLO, Co. -- The Lewis University men's and women's track and field teams had six of their qualifiers compete at the first day of competition for the NCAA Outdoor Championships Wednesday (May 22). The Flyers have 11 total athletes competing at the championships this week with the final day of competition taking place on Saturday (May 24).

Major congratulations to junior Denise Hernandez (Naperville, Ill./Naperville North HS) on being an NCAA champion for women's long jump!
