ROMEOVILLE, Ill. -- The 2024-2025 academic year was another successful season for athletic performance with many accolades, awards and championships but they were also able to put the STUDENT in student-athlete for their performance in the classroom as every team recorded over a 3+ team grade point average.

"The 24-25 academic year was another banner year for our Lewis athletes academically," Sean Dwyer, Success Coach, Athletics Specialist said. "A 3.457 Department GPA for the year is an incredible mark for our nearly 500 student-athletes and proves that they are not only dedicated to their athletic crafts but in their studies as well. Excellent academic performance, like we have at Lewis, is truly a team effort and a special recognition is deserved by all of our wonderful faculty and staff members that help our athletes succeed in the classroom."

During the season, every one of the 22 teams at Lewis University posted a higher than 3.00 Team GPA, among all athletes the average GPA was 3.457. 35 student-athletes achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA. 

84 percent of the student-athletes posted over a 3.0 GPA.
