AUSTIN, Tx. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced Wednesday (July 9) that Lewis University men's lacrosse players
Domenic Tarello (Libertyville, Illinois/Libertyville HS) and
Luke Schroeder (Plymouth, Minnesota/Totino-Grace HS) were named to the At-Large Academic All-America Teams. Tarello was a Second Team selection, while Schroeder was a Third Team selection.
Tarello made the CSC All-District Team and was a USILA Scholar All-American. He also earned the Great Lakes Valley Conference Council of Presidents award and All-Academic GLVC honors. He made the USILA All-South Region and USILA Honorable Mention All-American. Tarello made First Team All-GLVC and was the GLVC Specialist of the Year. He was also named the GLVC Scholar Athlete of the Year for men's lacrosse. The Sport Management major had a 3.85 GPA.
Schroeder also (CSC) All-District Team and was a USILA Scholar All-American. He also earned the GLVC Council Of Presidents Academic Excellence award and also earned GLVC All-Academic honors. He made the USILA All-South Region Team as well as USILA Honorable Mention All-American. He also earned All-GLVC First Team honors. The Sport Management major carried a 3.73 GPA.
