Louisville, Ky. - After outstanding collegiate careers,
Paul Ruskoski (Tulsa, Oklahoma/Bishop Kelley HS),
Caden Donahue (Hugo, Minnesota/Mahtomedi HS) and
Carter Korzenski (Orchard Park, N.Y./Limestone) were each selected to play in the United States Intercollegaite Lacrosse Association (USILA) Senior All-Star game, the organization announced today (May 20).
"We are honored to have Paul, Carter and Donny representing Lewis University in the prestigious USILA Senior All-Star Game" said head coach
Joe Perruzzi. "This is the most players we have ever had selected to play in this game in one season, which speaks volumes about this senior class. For these seniors to get to play together one last time will be a special experience that they will never forget."
The trio are the only members of any Great Lakes Valley Conference school to participate in the game and will play on the Division I/II South Region Team. Chris Burke of Division I Hampton will coach the all-star squad. Of the schools competing in the South Region, the Flyers three selections are tied with Saint Leo for the second-most participants.
The trio were all named USILA All-Americans, USILA All-South Region and All-GLVC honorees and are ranked within the top-five of Lewis history across multiple statistical categories.
The game will be played at Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Virginia, with opening face-off set for 6:30 p.m. The game can be watched
