Paul Ruskoski (Tulsa, Oklahoma/Bishop Kelley HS) to his staff ahead of the 2027 season.
A native of Upstate New York, Button attended Fairport High School, where he helped lead the Red Raiders to a No. 14 national ranking and an appearance in the New York State Championship game as a senior. He continued his playing career at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, where he was a three-year starter for the Dolphins' men's lacrosse program. During his time at Le Moyne, Button helped the Dolphins capture two Northeast-10 Conference championships and a Division II National Championship in 2013. He led the team in scoring during the national championship season and finished his career among the top 10 scorers in program history.
Button began his collegiate coaching career at Regis College in Weston, Mass. He then joined the staff at Mount Ida College as the program's offensive coordinator, helping lead the Mustangs to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship game.
After his time in Massachusetts, Button moved to the Chicagoland area and joined the coaching staff at Benedictine University. Following one season as an assistant coach, he was named head coach in 2019. During his four seasons at Benedictine, Button led the Eagles to back-to-back conference championships and NCAA Tournament appearances. He was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Coach of the Year in 2021. Under his leadership, Benedictine produced the NACC Offensive Player of the Year and an All-American in each of his final two seasons. Button also finished his tenure as the program's winningest coach, with a 41-27 record.
Button continued his collegiate coaching career at Concordia University Chicago during the 2023-24 season before joining Lake Forest College as the Foresters' offensive coordinator. In his first season at Lake Forest, the Foresters advanced to the NACC Championship game for the first time in program history.
Button currently serves as the Girls Lacrosse Director for Lakeshore Lacrosse. He is also the founder and director of Chicago Style Girls Box Lacrosse, an organization dedicated to growing opportunities for girls to compete in box lacrosse.
Lamoureux, an Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, native, played at Limestone University for four seasons, where he was a two-time All-SAC and two-time All-American honoree. A two-year captain for the Saints, Lamoureux also has 21 years of box lacrosse experience, during which he was a Minto Cup semifinalist and captured the Presidents Cup with the Snake Island Muskies.
Lamoureux has also won the Provincial Championship and was a three-time finalist. On the sideline, Lamoureux has previously served as the head coach of the Gloucester Griffins, the same team he began his box lacrosse career at.
After a decorated playing career, Ruskoski returns to the Flyers staff as a volunteer assistant coach. This past year, Ruskoski put together one of the best individual campaigns in program history, earning USILA Second Team All-American, USILA Scholar All-American, USILA Senior All-Star Game honoree, USA Lacrosse Magazine Division II Second Team All-American, and All-GLVC First Team honors.
The new program record holder for total points in a single season with 78, Ruskoski also set a new program record for goals in a game with nine against Walsh and scored at least three goals in nine contests last season. He earned GLVC Offensive Player of the Week accolades after his record performance against Walsh. His 47 goals and 65 points both ended the regular season in the top five in the GLVC. In the NCAA Tournament against Newberry, Ruskoski set the program record for goals in an NCAA Tournament contest with six against the Wolves, passing the previous high of four, which was set by Evan Clement against Maryville during the 2024 season. Ruskoski ranks top five all-time in Lewis history for both goals and points at the end of his playing time with the Red and White.
