Romeoville, Ill. – Lewis University men's basketball head coach
Nick Rocco released the Flyers non-conference schedule today which features four home games for the Flyers.
The Flyers tip-off the year once again with the GLVC and G-MAC Crossover as they face Malone and Tiffin at Tiffin University from Nov. 14-15. Last year the Flyers went 2-0 in the tournament beating both squads by a combined 16 points. Lewis will take on the Pioneers on the 14th and the Dragons on the 15th.
November 19th marks the first home game for the Flyers as they take on the GLIAC's Saginaw Valley State. This will be the first time the two teams meet since 2017 where the Flyers beat the Cardnials 80-47, and only the sixth time in program history the two schools cross paths. The following week, the Flyers will head to Allendale, Mich. to take on another GLIAC school as they battle Grand Valley State on November 26th. Following Grand Valley the Flyers face three conference opponents to begin December.
The middle of December brings in three more GLIAC opponents for Lewis, starting with a road contest against Wayne State on Dec. 13. On December 16th at Neil Carey Arena, the Flyers will welcome Ferris State who Lewis defeated during the 2024-25 campaign, 89-66. Lewis will round out their trio of GLIAC opponents on December 20th as they take on former GLVC member Wisconsin-Parkside.
The Flyers will wrap up their non-conference slate and the 2025 calendar year on December 30th at home against East-West University.
A formal announcement about ticket sales for Lewis men's basketball will be released on a later date.
