Bolivar, Mo. – Leo Gayman, Zac Redus and Barron Silsby made up for 58 of SBU's 82 points as the Lewis University men's Basketball team fell on the road 82-48 to Southwest Baptist.

SBU's (10-9, 4-7 GLVC) Leo Gayman was present all over the court today for the home team as he scored a team-high 27 points,while grabbing 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
For the Flyers (4-14, 2-8 GLVC), Billy Durkin (Hinsdale, Ill./Wheaton) 10 points was the team's high, and also the most efficient of the night, as he shot 3 - 4 from the field. Jackson Connor (Marion, Ill./Marion) led Lewis in rebounding with four. The Flyers came up short in shooting tonight, as they went 19 - 47 from the field, compared to SBU's 50% on 33 - 66 shooting.
HOW IT HAPPENED
SBU controlled the first half as they tallied 45 points while limiting the Flyers to just 10 makes from the floor to enter the locker room with a 45-24 edge. The Bearcats never relented out of halftime and expanded their lead to as much as 38 points, 82-44, with 3:25 to play.
The Flyers ended the evening on a high note as they kept SBU scoreless for the final three minutes while adding in four points of their own.

- Durkin finished in double-digits for the first time this year in scoring
- Today marked the eighth all-time meeting between the two sides
- Mac Hagemaster (Frankfort, Ill./Homewood-Flossmoor) had two blocks, establishing a new career-high
