Box Score Romeoville, Ill. - The No. 7 Lewis University men's lacrosse team kept Lynn off the scoreboard in the second and third periods en route to their 22-6 win over the Fighting Nights Saturday afternoon at Lewis Stadium.
With the win, the Flyers improved to 6-1 while Lynn dipped to 1-2.Â
IMPACT PLAYERS
Carter Korzenski (Orchard Park, N.Y./Limestone) paced Lewis with six goals while his teammate
Malikye Good (Windsor, Ontario, Canada/St. Thomas of Villanova Catholic HS) notched a game-high seven points with five goals and two assists.
Logan Suchy (Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota/Simley HS) nabbed five ground balls while
Joe Janda (Livonia, Michigan/St. Mary's Preparatory HS) and
Tyler Davis (Edina, Minnesota/Edina HS) caused a combined nine turnovers with five for Janda and four for Davis. In net,
Caden Donahue (Hugo, Minnesota/Mahtomedi HS) earned the win, making nine saves in three quarters of play.Â
Michael Evans tallied two goals for Lynn and in net, Hunter Klosterman made 12 saves in the loss.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Flyers took flight early as they jumped out to a 3-0 lead 6:41 into the contest after a man-up goal from Good. Lewis added in two more goals before the frame ended to negate a late Lynn goal and command a 6-1 lead after 15 minutes of action.Â
The second quarter was all Lewis as they held the Fighting Knights to just one shot, that was saved by Donahue, while finding the back of the net seven times to enter halftime with a 13-1 lead. Korzenski represented a bulk of the Flyers offense as he accounted for three of the red and whites seven goals in the second.
Out of halftime, Lynn attempted to break their scoreless streak as they fired three shots on goal in the first two minutes of play with all three shots getting turned away by Donahue. After the early attack, the Flyers flipped the script as they tallied two goals before the 10 minute mark to jump ahead, 15-1. The red and white lobbed on three more goals before the frame ended with their lead expanding to 17, 19-1.Â
Both sides traded goals in the fourth quarter with Lewis pushing their lead to as much as 19, 21-2, at the 8:17 mark.Â
GAME NOTES
- Lewis is now 1-0 against Lynn
- The Flyers tallied 20-or-more goals in consecutive games for the first time since March 11-15, 2025
- Lewis caused a season-high 18 turnovers in the win
- Janda's five caused turnovers are a career-high and the most by a Lewis player this season

The Flyers will head to St. Louis, Mo., for a pair of neutral site games on the campus of Maryville University. The first will be a tilt against Rollins on March 14 at 3 p.m.
