Lewis Finishes Top-10 in 2025-26 USTFCCCA Program of the Year Standings

New Orleans – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) revealed the final standings for the USTFCCCA Program of the Year Awards. The Lewis University women's track & field program ended the year ranked ninth across all of Division II while the men were tabbed 10th. The Flyers were the only Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) school across both standings.

In order to be eligible for the award, teams must qualify for each of the three NCAA Championships. Scoring is based on the team's finish at each Championship in cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field with the lowest total score for all three championships combined determining the award winner.

On the women's side, the Flyers tallied 68.5 points with 14 coming from cross country, 26.5 from the indoor season and 28 from the outdoor season. On the men's side, the Flyers garnered 66 points to be tied with Washburn. Their 66 points stemmed from 12 in cross country, 13 from indoor track & field and 41 from the outdoor season.

West Texas A&M topped the charts on the women's side while Grand Valley State was ranked the number one men's outfit. Out of the 31 total Division II men's and women's programs to appear at all three championships, Lewis is just one of seven schools to be ranked top-10 in both the men's and women's rankings. This year, the Flyers had 12 total All-Americans between the cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field seasons.
