South Bend, Ind. — The Lewis men's cross country team finished first in the small-school division and third overall Friday morning at the National Catholic Invite with 135 points.
DePaul came in second (120 points), and Notre Dame came in first (15 points).
Kenan Delestre (La Poueze, France/Lycee Bourg) led the way for the Flyers, finishing 10th in 24:11.5. Senior
Luke Noren (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central) followed, running 25:00 for 26th place, while senior
Gabriel Cates (Purcellville, Vir./Loudoun Valley) ran 25:16.3 for 35th place.
Rounding out the scoring five for Lewis was
Nico Cimino (Minooka, Ill./Minooka) in 40th place (25:23.0) and
Luke Robinson (Mount Prospect, Ill./Prospect) in 44th place (25:30.0).
