ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Lewis University women's bowling head coach Scott Taylor announced the Flyers' 2026-27 schedule on Tuesday (July 28). The slate includes the Flyer Classic, which will be at 24 teams in February.

For the second straight years the Flyers will start their season with both the varsity and JV squads at the Western Shootout in Indianapolis Oct. 10-11 at Royal Pin Western.

After a week off, Lewis travels to Cherry Valley, Illinois, for the Warhawk Classic at Cherry Bowl Oct. 23-25. This is the Flyers' first trip back to the Warhawk Classic since a second place finish in 2021. The following week the Flyers will take part in the Windy City Classic at River Rand Bowl in Des Plaines, Illinois, for the second straight year Oct. 30-Nov. 1.

Lewis will then head to the Steel City to compete in the Brother Pat Lacey Memorial Nov. 7 and the Wildlife Open Nov. 8. Last year the Flyers brought home a first and second-place trophy across both events. 

The Flyers will get a week off before heading back to Indianapolis for the DII Invite at Royal Pin Expo Nov. 20-22. They will conclude the semester at the Warhawk Open Dec. 5-6 at Stardust Bowl in Addison.

The second semester opens with the ISBPA/Kegel Midwest Collegiate Classic at Stardust Bowl Jan. 16-17. On Jan. 23-24, the Flyers will split into two squads, with one team competing at the Viking Classic in East Moline and the other at the Storm Baker Classic in Addison.

After an open week, Lewis will host the Eighth Annual Flyer Classic at Strike N Spare II in Lockport Feb. 5-7. The tournament started in 2020 with 12 teams and had a record 26 teams last year before moving to 24 this year. It will feature the defending NCAA National Champions, Jacksonville State and the 2025 champion, Youngstown State.

Following a week off, the Flyers will head outside Illinois for the first time during the second semester, competing at the Niagara Spring Invite in Niagara Falls, New York, on Feb. 20-21. Lewis will conclude its regular season at the Music City Classic March 5-7. 

The USBC ISC and ITC Sectionals are set for March 12-14, while the GLVC Championship is scheduled for March 19-21 in Indianapolis.
