Kenosha, Wis. – Lewis women's soccer fell 4-2 to Parkside Sunday afternoon in a nonconference match at Wood Road Field. With the result, Lewis moves to 0-2-0 overall and Parkside moves to 2-0-0 overall.
IMPACT PLAYERS
Olive Tinucci (Chicago, Ill./Lane Tech) scored two goals for the Flyers while
Talia Kaempf (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton North),
Anna Linsler (Emmendingen, Germany), and
Jordan Schaden (Appleton, Wis./Appleton East) each recorded an assist.
Andrea Wie (Vadsoe, Norway/NTG Tromsoe) made two saves in goal.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Lewis got on the board first in the ninth minute when Tinucci found the back of the net off assists from Kaempf and Linsler to give the Flyers an early 1-0 lead.
Parkside responded in the 33rd minute as Rilyn Breinholt scored to even the match at 1-1 heading into halftime.
In the second half, the Rangers took their first lead of the game in the 55th minute when Kate Brown scored to make it 2-1.
Lewis responded just three minutes later as Tinucci scored her second goal of the afternoon off an assist from Schaden to tie the match at 2-2.
Parkside regained the lead in the 79th minute when Mary Leininger found the back of the net to put the Rangers ahead 3-2.
Parkside tallied one last goal in the 90th minute as Ava Rizzitano scored to make it 4-2.
GAME NOTES
- Parkside outshot Lewis 16-15.
- Both teams recorded six shots on goal.
- Lewis is now 5-13-4 all-time against Parkside.
- The teams played to a 2-2 draw in their previous meeting on Sept. 7, 2025.
