2011 Highlights: Competed in three events...took 26th place at the 6K Benedictine Eagle Invitational (Oct. 7) with a time of 25:40 to help team to first place finish...named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

2010 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...used season as redshirt campaign and will retain two years of eligibility.    

2009 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and Academic All-GLVC honoree...competed in seven cross country meets and was a runner-up in three of those events...finished second in the Elmhurst Earlybird Invite (Sept. 4) with a 4K time of 14:59...repeated that performance the following week at the 5K Bradley Open (Sept. 11) with a personal-best time of 18:21...placed 10th overall at the highly prestigious 6K Roy Griak Invitational (Sept. 27) with a time of 23:07.29...claimed second-place honors at the 6K GLVC Championships (Oct. 24) with a personal-best time of 22:39.26.

Prior to Lewis: Competed for Shawnee State for one season...qualified for the National Championships, both as an individual and as a member of the team.

Prep/Personal: Two-time track and field MVP and team captain for Teays Valley...was a regional qualifier in the 3,200-meter run...selected as cross country team MVP as a senior...qualified for the cross country regionals...winner of the U.S. Marine Corp Female Athlete of the Year...helped Teays Valley to a pair of Conference Track and Field championships as a sophomore and junior...four-year member of the honor roll...member of the National Honor Society...daughter of Deanna Kurzydlo...major is sports management.
