All-Midwest Region Second Teams...First Team All-GLVC...Academic All-GLVC selection and Delahanty Award winner, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...made 26 appearances and 25 starts at pitcher...compiled a 18-6 record in the circle with a 2.36 ERA with 85 strikeouts in 154.2 innings pitched...20 complete games and 11 shutouts...picked up first win of season win 3-1 win over Saint Leo (Mar. 2), giving up just one earned run...pitched eight innings on four hits for the game two victory at Warner (Mar. 3)...rolled off 12 straight wins between Mar. 8 and Apr. 21...pitched a complete game with one run and three strikeouts in 3-1 win over Ashland (Mar. 8)...had three-straight shutouts in wins over Judson (Mar. 17), UIS (Mar. 19) and Missouri S&T (Apr. 2) totaling 10 punch outs and just four hits allowed...rolled off four more shutouts in complete game victories vs. Saint Joseph's (Apr. 6) and on the road vs. UMSL (Apr. 9), Maryville (Apr. 10) and UW-Parkside (Apr. 13)...pitched two innings of scoreless relief for the game two victory over Northern Kentucky (Apr. 30)...pitched complete game shutout to lift Flyers to GLVC Tournament championship over Quincy (May 8), allowing three hits.
2010 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC selection and Delahanty Award winner, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...made 20 appearances in the circle, including 15 starts...went the distance in 14 of those starts...finished with a mark of 11-5 with an earned run average of 2.04 and 78 strikeouts...struck out a season-high eight batters against Holy Family (March 1) and against Northern Kentucky (May 14) in the NCAA Regional opener...twirled a two-hit, complete-game shutout in a 1-0 victory over Quincy (March 19) in the opener...allowed just two hits and struck out six batters and added a solo home run in a 6-3 win in the nightcap against Saint Francis (March 23)...won both games against Missouri S&T on March 29th, as she allowed just one run and eight hits in 13.1 innings of work...blanked UIndy (Apr. 3) in a complete-game, five-hit, four-strikeout, 4-0 shutout win...limited Maryville to two hits and struck out four in a 4-0 complete-game win in the opener over the Saints (Apr. 10)...earned a win and a save in a pair of games against Northern Kentucky in the GLVC Tournament...added another complete-game victory over Northern Kentucky (May 15) in the NCAA Regionals, allowing two runs and five hits while fanning four batters.
2009 Highlights: Delahanty Award winner, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...made 24 appearances in the circle, including 13 starts...finished season with a record of 11-1 with a 2.87 ERA in 85.1 innings pitched while striking out 31 batters...won her first nine decisions...was 5-1 with a 2.01 ERA in 38.1 innings pitched and 13 strikeouts in GLVC play...was the winning pitcher in a 12-2, complete-game, five-inning victory over St. Cloud State (Feb. 14), allowing two runs and striking out two batters...tossed a complete-game, one-hit 1-0 shutout victory over Kutztown (Feb. 28) and struck out four batters...allowed just one run and six hits in 4.1 innings or work to pick up the 4-1 victory over Lake Superior State (Mar .4)...pitched 3.1 innings of scoreless relief and fanned four batters in a 7-4 win over Indianapolis (Mar. 21) in game two...earned a complete-game, two-hit, 5-1 victory over Saint Joseph[apos]s (Mar. 22) in game two, while striking out five batters...tossed a complete-game, two-hit shutout victory in a 10-0, five-inning win over Kentucky Wesleyan (Apr. 8)...claimed a 3-2 victory over Indianapolis (May 2) in the GLVC Tournament, allowing two runs and six hits in six innings of work.
2008 Highlights: Delahanty Award winner, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...appeared in 20 games as a pitcher and finished with a record of 9-2 with a 2.43 ERA, including 39 strikeouts...was 2-for-2 with a double against Arkansas-Monticello (Feb. 16)...went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double against Delta State (Feb. 23)...picked up her first career victory against University of Mary (Mar. 4), tossing three innings of scoreless and hitless relief...tossed a complete-game, two-hit shutout against Bellarmine (Mar. 21)...followed that performance with another four-hit shutout of Northern Kentucky (Mar. 22), while fanning a season-best five batters...earned the eight-inning, 3-2, complete-game victory over Winona State (Mar. 29)...captured the 8-0 complete-game shutout over Southern Indiana in five innings and went 2-for-3 with two home runs, two runs scored and three RBI on April 14th.
Prep/Personal: Earned three varsity letters as a pitcher for Oak Forest...was a three-time All-South Suburban Conference selection and two-time all-area honoree as a junior and senior... was the Oak Forest Rookie of the Year as a freshman...as a senior, posted a 23-4 record with 13 shutouts and 137 strikeouts, compiling a 0.76 ERA ... also batted .390 and hit four home runs ... helped team to conference and regional championships during junior and senior seasons ... was a four-year honor roll student...played for the Stone City Sharks her final two years of high school...daughter of Mike and Sharon Pickrum...majoring in business administration.
