2012 Highlights: Won the 5,000-meter run (15:42) at the Big Blue Invite (Apr. 21)...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...set outdoor personal bests in both the 1,500-meter run (4:17.89) and 5,000-meter run (15:36.84)...earned an indoor personal best time in the 3,000-meter run (9:08.21) at the GLVC Championships (Feb. 25).

2011 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence, and named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

2010 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...redshirted during indoor and outdoor track and field campaigns and will retain three years of eligibility.

2009 Highlights: Delahanty Award recipient given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence.

Prep/Personal: Two-year varsity letterwinner in both cross country and track for Hoffman Estates...two-time Academic All-Conference in both cross country and track and field...served as track and field captain as a senior...selected as the cross country team’s MVP on his way to All-Mid Suburban Conference honors...qualified for the cross country state championships as a junior and claimed All-Mid Suburban Conference track and field honors...named most improved runner in both cross country and track and field...named to the Mid-Suburban Freshman/Sophomore Cross Country team as a sophomore...son of Don and Alese Goers...major is undecided.
