2012 Highlights: Used indoor and outdoor seasons as redshirt campaign and will retain three seasons of eligibility...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

2011 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...owns Lewis’ fastest 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:15.18) and second-fastest indoor 800-meter run (2:07.25).

Prep/Personal: Three-year varsity letterwinner in cross country and two-year varsity letterwinner in track and field...earned All-Conference honors as a sophomore...named team captain as a senior...ran a personal-best 16:30 in the 3-mile run as a junior and breezed to a PR in the 800-meter run (2:05) as a senior...earned High Honors throughout high school...son of Michelle Almazan...major is psychology.
