2011-12 Highlights: Was 13th in the 100 breaststroke (59.79) at the GLIAC Championships (Feb. 9)...had a 1:02.90 victory in the 100 breaststroke in the win over William Jewell (Oct 29) and member of winning 400 free relay team (3:19.89)...second in the 50 free, touching the wall in 22.28 vs. IIT (Nov. 4) and first in 200 free relay (1:29.27)...second in 100 breast finals (59.67) and set a then new school record (59.25) in preliminary race while taking first in 800 free relay (7:01.56) on day one of Carthage College Swimming Classic (Dec. 2)...used a 1:02.43 time in the 100 yard breaststroke to take first place points  vs. Carthage (Jan. 7)...used a 1:02.43 time in the 100 yard breaststroke to take first place points vs. Carthage (Jan. 7)....Finished fourth in the 100 freestyle (50.96) and the 50 freestyle (23.32) while swimming the second leg of Lewis’ second place finish in the 200 medley relay vs Lincoln (Jan. 27)...was second in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.14) vs. Indianapolis Jan. 28).
 

 2010-11 Highlights: Took 12th in the 100 breaststroke at the GLIAC Championships with a time of 59.97 (Feb. 11)...had a 16th place finish in the 50 freestyle (21.82) at the GLIAC Championships (Feb. 10)...touched the wall first in the 100 freestyle (50.22) at IIT (Oct. 29)...delivered a second place finish against Northwestern, Carthage and North Central in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.08) (Jan. 8)...placed second in the 50 freestyle against Wayne State with a time of 22.55 (Jan. 15).

2008-10 Highlights (At Lincoln College): Helped Lincoln College to second place in the nation at the 2009 NJCAA Championships in Buffalo, N.Y....member of the runner-up 800 Free Relay, and scored individually in the 200 and 500 freestyle events, earning NJCAA All-America honors...third in the 1650 freestyle at the championships.

Prep/Personal: Member of the Deans’ List...also played water polo...son of Carl and Debbie Bonavolanto...chemistry major.
