Biography

2014 Highlights: Played and started 44 games at second base…singled three times and scored a run vs. Ashland (March 1)…had three hits in both games of a doubleheader at Indianapolis (April 5)…recorded two RBI and two runs scored thanks to a double and a home run vs. UIS (April 12)…knocked in a run while scoring twice due to two hits at McKendree (April 26).

2013 Highlights: Named All-GLVC First Team…appeared in and started in 50 contests at second base…picked up four hits against Missouri-St. Louis (May 11), with two doubles and two RBI…batted in a career-high four Flyer runs against Wheeling Jesuit (March 3)…stole two bases against Bellarmine (April 7, gm2) and Kentucky Wesleyan (April 14, gm 2).

2012 Highlights: Started 52 games (22 at second base and 30 at shortstop)...knocked in three runs thanks to two doubles while scoring three times in game one vs. UW-Parkside (April 18)...had a solo home run and two singles and scored three times in game one at Kentucky Wesleyan (April 14)...singled three times, scored once and had two RBI in game two at Kentucky Wesleyan (April 15)...scored four times on two hits with an RBI vs. Upper Iowa (March 28)...tripled, walked twice and scored twice in game two vs. Upper Iowa (March 28)...singled three times, scored twice and knocked in a run in game one vs. Missouri S&T (March 24)...recorded two RBI in back-to-back games, vs. Ashland (March 5) and vs. Maryville (March 6)...singled three times with an RBI and a run scored vs. Notre Dame (Ohio) (March 10)...doubled and singled twice with an RBI and a run scored vs. St. Francis (April 24)...singled twice and scored in the NCAA Midwest Regional vs. Indianapolis (May 17).

2011 Highlights: Played in 11 games with four starts (three at second base and one at shortstop)...doubled, singled, scored a run and knocked in two vs. Mary (March 4)...singled and scored vs. Quincy (March 20)...doubled and scored vs. UIS (March 19)...doubled vs. UW-Parkside (April 6)...singled and hit by a pitch vs. Maryville (March 28).

Prep/Personal: Twice named First Team All-Conference and First Team All Area by the Daily Herald and Courier News...as a senior, helped South Elgin to the school's first 20-win season, post season victory and regional championship...earned Chicago Tribune All-State Honorable Mention accolades as a junior...in his junior year he hit .481 with a single-season school record 70 hits .. as a senior he hit .347, graduating as the career leader in hits, doubles and average at South Elgin...high honor roll selection every semester...member of the National Honor Society...son of Dave and Cindy Buddle...Business Administration major.
