2014 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...played in 14 games with 10 starts (nine at third base and one at second base)…doubled in a run vs. Grand Valley State (Match 4)…singled and scored at Indianapolis (April 5).

2013 Highlights: Named Academic All-GLVC and Delahanty Award honoree…appeared in 12 games…doubled, picked up two RBI and scored a run against West Virginia Wesleyan (March 4).

Prior To Lewis: Spent three semesters at UIS and a semester at Illinois Central College...in 2011 with UIS, batted .247 with thre doubles getting 25 starts in 27 appearances...On the mound for the Prairie Stars, he had five appearances with three starts, earning 0-2 record for a 5.95 ERA in 19.1 innings of work with nine strike outs.

Prep/Personal: Four-year letterwinner at Washington Community, playing both first and third base...also claimed three football letters, playing quarterback...three-time All-Conference selection...named to All-Area team as a third baseman as a junior...as a senior, batted .464 with 18 doubles and 54 RBI, while going 9-1 on the mound...helped Washington to a third-place finish in the IHSA State Baseball Championship as a freshman...member of the National Honor Society, Honor Roll and High Honor Roll...son of Lance and Jean Escue...Business Administration major.
