Biography

2012 Highlights: Did not compete in either the indoor or outdoor campaigns.

2011 Highlights: Set personal records in the 1-Mile Run (4:38.51), 3,000-meter run (9:03.62), indoor 5,000-meter run (15:39.01) and outdoor 5,000-meter run (15:38.83)...owns Lewis’ third-best 1-Mile Run (4:38.51) time.

2010 Highlights: Turned in  personal-record time in the 1,500-meter run (4:16.60) at the Eagle Invitational (Apr. 17). 

2009 Highlights: Turned in a season-best indoor time of 9:07.74 in the 3,000-meter run at the GLVC Championships, good for third-fastest on the team...owns Lewis’ second-fastest 5,000-meter run times in both the indoor and outdoor seasons with a mark of 15:55.36 at the GVSU Division II Challenge (Feb. 7) and 16:06.12 at the DePauw Invitational (Apr. 4).

Prep/Personal: Four-year letterwinner in track and field and three year letterwinner in cross country at Guerin Prep...three-time team MVP in cross country...first person in school history to qualify for the state tournament in any sport...set the school records in both the 1 and 2-mile races...son of Edgardo Medero and Yvette Magallon...major is criminal justice.
