2016 Highlights: Named to Academic All-GLVC Team... Did not compete this season, will retain a year of eligibility...recipient of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award.

2015 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...competed in four races...finished 15th overall at the 5K JV National Catholic Invitational (Sept. 18) with a time of 19:55.8.

2014 Highlights: Used this season as a redshirt campaign...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence.

2013 Highlights: Competed in six out of seven races...was 16th overall at the 6K NCAA Division III Pre-National Invitational (Oct. 5) with a time of 23:09.25....picked up a 13th-place finish of 18:57.3 at the 5K National Catholic Invitational (Sept. 20)...raced to an 11th-place and season-best showing of 18:49.8 at the 5K Illinois Intercollegiate (Sept. 13)...had a personal-best 6K time of 22:36 at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championships (Nov. 9)...earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

Prep/Personal: Four time letterwinner in both cross country and track at J. I. Case High School...awarded 1st Team All-County and the Team Outstanding Performance Award for cross country her sophomore through senior seasons...selected All-County for the 800 and 1600 meters her junior and senior track seasons...helped her team to a track sectionals championship her junior season...daughter of Frank and Jacque Nielsen...biology major.
