David Delahanty Award – given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team... named to All-GLVC men's tennis team... awarded GLVC Player of the Week twice during the season (weeks of Feb. 20 and Apr. 10)... finished with singles record of 18-8 and doubles record of 23-5... defeated nationally-ranked Del Pino and Morlet of Indianapolis (Sep. 16-18) 8-4 paired with Alan Braschinsky... had one shutout on the season defeating Navarro of Saint Francis (Mar. 24) 6-0, 6-0... earned singles and doubles wins in Lewis victories against Prairie State (Feb. 6), Hillsdale (Feb. 13), Mercyhurst (Feb. 17), Walsh (Feb. 18), Findlay (Feb. 19), Quincy (Feb. 24), Lake Superior State (Mar. 1), Bellarmine (Mar. 24), Saint Francis, Saint Joseph's (Apr. 1), Illinois Springfield (Apr. 7), McKendree (Apr. 8), Southern Indiana (Apr. 15), and Missouri-St. Louis (Apr. 22).
2015-16 Highlights: Finished the season with a team-best singles record of 25-6 and a combined doubles mark of 27-9...named to All-GLVC Team...finished season No. 29 in the Oracle/ITA NCAA Division II singles rankings...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...he and teammate Alan Braschinsky finished seventh overall at the USTA/ITA National Small College Doubles Championship after winning the Midwest Regional championship...was 18-3 in dual singles matches, including a perfect 6-0 in GLVC play...advanced to semifinals of ITA Midwest Regional Tournament (Sept. 19-21) following victories over Hillsdale, Michigan Tech, Grand Valley State and Southern Indiana...picked up a singles and doubles win in team victories over Hillsdale (Feb. 6), Aquinas (Feb. 20), Newman (Feb. 27), Arkansas-Fort Smith (Feb. 29), St. Francis (March 20), Tiffin (March 25), Wayne State (March 26), Bellarmine (April 2), Saint Joseph's (April 8) and UIS (April 16).
2014-15 Highlights: Ended the season with a hefty singles record of 24-8 and a combined doubles record of 18-9…was 4-2 in the GLVC for singles play…captured an undefeated doubles victory in the No. 2 spot at the Billiken Classic (Sept. 6)…grabbed two wins over Illinois Springfield, defeating the No. 1 doubles pair with a 8-5 victory and a win over Hayden Asker 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles (Apr. 3)…came out on top over Lindenwood (Apr. 12) at No. 1 doubles (8-0) and No. 3 singles (6-4, 6-4).
2013-14 Highlights: Worked his way to a record of 17-4 in singles play and 10-13 in doubles play…named to the GLVC All-Conference Team…defeated #10 Fresno Pacific’s Leonardo Urquidi (0-6, 6-2, 7-5) (Mar. 4)…victorious in his GLVC conference tournament match against Indianapolis’ Ryan Frankel (Apr. 11)…fought his way to a victory against #11 Azusa Pacific’s Tomas Aranquiz (6-3, 2-6, 12-10) (Mar. 3)…rolled over Bellarmine’s Zachary Kuo (6-2, 6-2) (Apr. 5)…recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team.
