Biography

 2017 Highlights: Named to Academic All-GLVC Team...earned GLVC Pitcher of the Week honors for week ending April 24...had 13 appearances on the mound, going 1-3 with a team-best 3.42 ERA in six starts...finished second on the team with 52.2 innings pitched...pitched 3.1 scoreless innings, earning the save at UW-Parkside (March 25)...Allowed two hits and one earned run, striking out seven in six innings at St. Joseph's (April 14)...Went seven scoreless innings, picking up the win against Southern Indiana (April 22)...Allowed three hits and one run in 8.1 innings at Bellarmine (April 28)...pitched six scoreless innings vs. McKendree (May 6).

2016 Highlights: Pitched in 13 games with seven starts…went 2-1 with a 5.32 era…totaled 28 strikeouts…had back-to-back wins vs. Cedarville (March 18) and UW-Parkside (March 25)…picked up a save at Illinois Springfield (April 9)…allowed two earned runs and recorded three Ks against Cedarville (March 18).

Prep/Personal: Earned three varsity letters at Downers Grove South…ended his junior season on the mound with a 2.56 ERA and a conference record of 18-0…Downers Grove totaled only three losses over his  first three seasons… played club ball for the Longshots…son of Peter and Kathy Hamot... Business Administration major.
