2018-19 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...she won the 100 meter hurdles with a personal best time of 14.29 seconds and finished fifth in the 200 meter dash at the GLVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships...she ran a personal best in the 200 meter dash in the prelims with a time of 25.05 seconds...she was also a member of the 4x100 meter relay team that won the conference title with a time of 46.48 seconds...she finished third in the 60 meter hurdles, fifth in the 200 meter dash and eighth in the 60 meter dash at the GLVC Indoor Track and Field Championships.

2017-18 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...ranked fifth in the 100 meter hurdles in the GLVC...ran anchor leg on the winning 4x100 meter relay team at the GLVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships...finished fifth in 100 meter hurdles and sixth in the 200 meter dash at the GLVC Outdoor Championships...was a member of the 4x100 relay team that took 11th at the NCAA Division II Track and Field Outdoor Championships...during the indoor season she finished third in the 60 meter hurdles and sixth in the 60 meter dash at the GLVC Indoor Track and Field Championships.

2016-17 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award – given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team... ranked sixth in the 100 meter hurdles in the GLVC... placed in the top three nine times through eight meets... finished first in the 55 meter hurdles (8.64) at the Illiana Invitational (Jan. 13)... finished first in the 60 meter hurdles (9.21) at the NAIA Challenge (Jan. 21)... finished first in the 100 meter hurdles (14.70) at the Benedictine Duals (Apr. 8).

Prep/Personal: Ran track for Whitney Young Magnet High School...holds the school record time (14.92) in the 100 meter hurdles...placed 10th in 100m hurdles at IHSA State Championships in 2016...daughter of Johnathan Essien and Gloria Alumona...biology major.
