2012 Highlights: Appeared in one game before missing entire season with a knee injury...dished out an assist in a 3-1 loss to eventual national runner-up Saginaw Valley State (Aug. 30)...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and named to Academic All-GLVC Team.

2011 Highlights: Appeared in three matches on the season and recorded a shot against Maryville (Sept. 23)...Br. David Delahanty Award winner - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...earned medical redshirt after suffering season-ending knee injury.    
                                                                                          
2010 Highlights: Started all 17 matches as a defender for Lewis...posted six shots, including three on frame...was a part of a stingy Flyer defense that held opponents to 1.16 goals-per-game.

2009 Highlights: Appeared in two games and made one start against Saint Joseph's (Oct. 9).

Prep/Personal: Four-year varsity starter at defense for Taft High School... named an All-State Defender, First Team All-City and team MVP after posting three goals and five assists as a senior...his jersey number (#5) was retired on the Taft Hall of Fame Wall...named to the Chicago Fire All-State All-Academic Team as a senior...was a member of the honor roll for four years and National Honor Society for two...owned a perfect attendance mark...Taft compiled 59 wins during his four seasons...son of Astrit and Venetike Kociu...major is undecided.
