2017 Highlights: Appeared in 24 matches and played in 45 sets...recorded career-highs in digs (11) and assists (four) in the sweep of Colorado Springs (Sept. 2) at the Hawai'i Challenge...matched her career-high with 11 digs in the straight set win over Chaminade (Sept. 2)...recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence - and an Academic All-GLVC selection.

Prep/Personal: Was a four year letterwinner in volleyball and track and field and three year letterwinner in basketball at Parkway West...helped lead her team to a 98-37-8 record, four conference championships and a district championship...registered 1,379 assists, 1,071 digs, 508 kills and 160 service aces...was a three-time first team all-conference and all-region selection...was the Suburban Central's Conference Player of the Year in her junior and senior seasons...was a second team all-conference selection in her freshman year...honorable all-state selection as a junior and a second team all-state pick as a senior...daughter of Chris and Laura Poppen...majoring in Biology.
