Biography

During conference play Motz averaged 8.6 points, 3.7 rebounds in 18 minutes/ game shooting 33% from three and 81% from the FT line (third in attempts on team) and 47% from the field (second on team).
 
“Amelia was a great spark off the bench providing reliable scoring and rebounding in limited minutes," Lewis head women's basketball coach Matt Nelson said. "Her stats don’t truly reflect the importance she brought to our team. I could always count on her to bring a positive impact defensively with her strength and effort."

Senior Year at Alaska-Anchorage (2020-21):
  • Posted 5.0 points on .583  (7-of-12) shooting and 3.7 rebounds per game to help Seawolves to 3-0 in pandemic-shortened three-game campaign.
  • scored career-high nine points and grabbed eight rebounds to spark Seawolves to win over Multnomah.
  • had six points on 3-of-3 shooting to help UAA avoid upset with 62-57 win over Pacific (Ore.).
Redshirt-Junior Year at Alaska-Anchorage (2019-20):
  • Saw action in every game for Seawolf team that went school-record 31-2 overall, swept Great Northwest Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament titles and finished No. 4 in both national polls.
  • averaged 2.2 points and 2.5 rebounds, shooting .813 from the free throw line.
  • posted a positive assist-turnover ratio and totaled more steals (21) than turnovers (18).
  • cracked the scoring column 22 times and had multiple rebounds in 21 games.

Junior Year at Iona College (2018-19):
