The 2025 season is the second for Jake Lotz as pitching coach on Mike Vucsko staff. Prior to his arrival at Lewis Lotz spent one season at Northern Illinois and one season at Triton College.Â

Last season the Flyer pitching staff posted 6.50 ERA while fanning 329 batters and only walking 205. Flyers had two pitchers receive All- GLVC awards.Â

As a player Lotz spent five seasons with the Flyers. With a career ERA of 3.38, 205 strikeouts to 75 walks. Lotz also received All- Region honors in 2022.Â

Coach Lotz resides in Chicago and enjoys spending his free time with family and friends.Â
