2011 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award - given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...competed in three events...season-best finish of ninth place at the 8K Benedictine Eagle Invitational (Oct. 7) with a time of 26:58...took 21st place at the 6K Elmhurst Earlybird Invitational (Sept. 2) in 20:13.0.

2010 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and Academic All-GLVC honoree...competed in five cross country meets...placed 37th at the 8K Illini Open (Oct. 22) with a time of 27:36 to help the Flyers to their first meet victory in over six seasons...followed that performance up a few weeks later with a career-best, 8K time of 27:12.9 at the GLVC Championships on November 6th.    

2009 Highlights: Recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and Academic All-GLVC honoree...used season as redshirt campaign and will retain three years of eligibility.

2008 Highlights: Delahanty Award recipient given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence and Academic All-GLVC selection...turned in a season-best 8K time of 28:23 at the Bradley Cross Country Open (Sept. 12), good for 39th place.

Prep/Personal: Two-year varsity letterwinner in both cross country and track for Hoffman Estates...two-time Academic All-Conference in both cross country and track and field...served as track and field captain as a senior...selected as the cross country team’s MVP on his way to All-Mid Suburban Conference honors...qualified for the cross country state championships as a junior and claimed All-Mid Suburban Conference track and field honors...named most improved runner in both cross country and track and field...named to the Mid-Suburban Freshman/Sophomore Cross Country team as a sophomore...son of Don and Alese Goers...major is business administration with a minor in marketing.
