Played and started five games ... went 3-1-1 with two shutouts ... posted a 0.80 goal-against average ... allowed four goals in 449:00 ... registered a career high with eight saves in a 2-0 shutout at Drury (Oct. 15) and vs. Southern Illinois Edwardsville (Oct. 27) ... notched a 1-0 shutout win vs. Truman State (Oct. 8). 2005-06: Academic All-GLVC, recipient of Lewis[apos] Delahanty Award for academic excellence among student athletes and a Deans[apos] List student both semesters ... started all 16 games in which he played ... posted a 9-7 record with a 0.75 goals-against average (sixth in the GLVC, 11 goals allowed in 1311:26), four shutouts, two combined shutouts, 55 saves and an .833 save percentage (second in the GLVC) ... recorded a 1-0 shutout with season-high eight saves at Mercyhurst in his collegiate debut ... followed that with a 1-0 shutout of Drury in the Flyers[apos] GLVC opener ... also blanked GLVC opponents Missouri-Rolla (1-0, six saves) and Kentucky Wesleyan (3-0) ... was part of combined shutouts of conference rivals Missouri-St. Louis (7-0) and Saint Joseph[apos]s (5-0) ... beat GLVC opponents Rockhurst (2-1, six saves), Indianapolis (2-1) and Southern Indiana (2-1) ... six of his seven losses were 1-0 decisions ... among those games were a seven-save effort vs. Quincy and five-save performances vs. Truman State and Bellarmine ... tallied an assist in 5-0 win over Saint Joseph[apos]s. High School/Other: Earned four varsity letters as a goalkeeper and forward ... as a senior, was team captain and was named all-state honorable mention, a Top 50 player and state championship all-tournament by the Chicago Tribune, all-conference, Daily Herald all-area, all-sectional honorable mention and Buffalo Grove[apos]s Most Inspirational Player ... helped lead the team to a 21-6-3 record, second place in the state, and regional and sectional titles with a 0.80 GAA and a school-record 14 shutouts, giving him a school-record 35 career shutouts ... Tribune Top 50, all-conference as a forward and honorary season captain his junior year ... turned in a 1.30 GAA and four shutouts in the first 13 games that season, then played forward the last 14 games and tallied two game-winning goals and a team-high 10 assists to help the team finish 15-9-3 ... as a sophomore, had school season records in GAA (0.56) and fewest goals allowed (13) and posted 11 shutouts for a 14-6-3 team ... all-sectional honorable mention, Daily Herald all-area, all-conference, honorary season captain and the team[apos]s Most Inspirational that season ... helped lead Buffalo Grove to an 18-4-1 mark as a freshman with a 0.70 GAA, five shutouts, four goals and two assists ... played club soccer for Elk Grove Arsenal, which finished third in the state in 2004 ... also lettered four years in track and field (sprints, jumps and relays).
