Arend Mulder, who joined the Lewis coaching staff in 2004, works with the Flyer goalkeepers.
Mulder has served as girls' varsity assistant coach and boys' freshmen and varsity assistant coach at Downers Grove South High School since 2002. He helped guide the Mustang boys' team to the 2004 IHSA Class AA state championship and the girls' team to conference titles in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
Mulder also works for the Darien Soccer Club, training the U10 and U13 girls' teams.
A native of the Netherlands, Mulder earned a bachelor's degree in facility management from Hogeschool Diedenoort, Netherlands, in 1999 and a Master of Business Administration degree (marketing emphasis) from Lewis in 2004. He holds a United States Soccer Federation "D" coaching license.
