E-mail Coach Swain Former Flyer forward Mark Swain, an associate professor of art at Lewis, is in his ninth season as assistant men's soccer coach. Swain, who scored 32 goals for Lewis from 1989-92, stands 12th on the Flyers' career scoring list with 70 points. He earned All-GLVC and All-Midwest honors, and he helped lead the Flyers to second place in the 1991 GLVC Championship tournament and first place in the 1992 GLVC regular-season standings. The Aurora native was a two-time all-area selection at Waubonsie Valley High School. He earned a bachelor's degree in art from Lewis in 1993 and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Northern Illinois University. Swain and his wife, Natalie, reside in Plainfield with son Jack and daughter Ali.
