David Delahanty Award, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence, and named to Academic All-GLVC Team...earned GLVC Council of Presidents’ Academic Excellence Award...garnered All-GLVC Outdoor Second Team accolades...finished second in the 400-meter dash (48.57) at the Dr. Keeler Invitational (May 13)...ran a leg of the second-place, 4x100 relay (41.67)at the GLVC Outdoor Championships (May 7)...was a member of the first-place 4x400 relay (3:18.04), ran a leg of the runner-up 4x100 relay (41.97) and added a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash (48.16) at the Chicagoland Championships (Apr. 9)...ran a leg of the first-place 4x100 relay (42.40) and finished second in the 200-meter dash (22.39) at the Puma Invite (Apr. 2)...named to All-GLVC Indoor First Team following his third-place finish in the 200-meter dash (22.39) at the GLVC Indoor Championships (Feb. 25)...finished second in the 400-meter dash with a NCAA provisional time of 49.03 at the Cardinal Classic (Feb. 18)...took home the 200-meter dash (22.32) title and added a pair of second-place finishes in both the 400-meter dash (49.04) and as a member of the 4x200 relay (1:30.97) at the Chicagoland Championships (Feb. 12)...was named GLVC Track Athlete of the Week for period ending February 6th, following his first-place and NCAA provisional time of 49.2 in the 400-meter dash at the UW-Parkside Classic Open (Feb. 4)...won both the 200-meter dash (22.77) and 400-meter dash (49.86) at the Dick Pond Open (Jan. 14)...placed second in the 600-meter run (1:21.61) at the Grand Valley St. Holiday Open (Dec. 17).
2010 Highlights: Was a member of the first-place, 4x200-relay (1:29.55) at the GLVC Indoor Championships (Feb. 27) and added a second-place finish in the 400-meter dash (49.52) to earn All-GLVC Indoor First Team honors... recipient of the Br. David Delahanty Award, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...captured the 400-meter dash title at the GVSU Holiday Open (Dec. 18) with a career-best time of 48.84...ran a leg of the runner-up 4x400 relay (3:34.12) at the Dick Pond Invitational (Jan. 16)...claimed a pair of first-place finishes in the 200-meter dash (22.39) and 400-meter dash (50.40) at the Ranger Open (Jan. 22)...won the 200-meter dash (22.52) and ran a leg of the first-place 4x200 relay (1:30.80) at the Chicagoland Championships (Feb. 13)...picked up a first-place finish in the 200-meter dash (22.6) and was a member of the first-place and NCAA Provisional qualifying 4x400 relay (3:19.67) at the Cardinal Classic (Feb. 20)...finished first in the 200-meter dash (21.62) and second in the 400-meter dash (48.84) at the Chicagoland Championships (Apr. 11).
2009 Highlights: Named to the All-GLVC Indoor First Team after winning the 400-meter dash (49.37) and running a leg of the champion 4x200 relay (1:30.76) and earning a second-place mark in the 200-meter dash (22.62) at the GLVC Indoor Championships (Feb. 28)...named to the All-GLVC Outdoor First Team following a win in the 400-meter dash (48.45) and runner-up finish in the 200-meter dash (22.0) at the GLVC Outdoor Championships (May 2)...recipient of the Delahanty Award, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence.
2008 Highlights: Named to the Academic All-GLVC team...was third in the 400-meter dash (51.56) at the Dick Pond Invitational (Feb. 9)...finished third overall in the 200-meter dash (23.28) at the Dick Pond Open (Feb. 22)...earned a runner-up finish in the 400-meter dash (49.38) at the Eagle Invitational (Apr. 19).
Prep/Personal: Four-year letterwinner in track and field at Park Hill South...two-time All-Conference selection...ran a leg of the two-time conference champion 4x100 relay squad...earned both the ‘Junior of the Year’ and ‘Senior of the Year’ awards from Park Hill South...won the 400-meter dash at the Kansas Relays...set the school-record in the 400-meter dash (49.06)...was a two-time USATF National Qualifier in the 400-meter dash...placed second overall in the USATF 400-meter regionals in 2007...four-time academic letter award winner...son of Larry and Kathy Leibrand...major is aviation administration.
