Former Flyer Eric Butch enters his first season as an assistant on the Lewis coaching staff.
Butch (2010-15) is two years removed from playing for the Flyers where he was a two-time captain and voted Most Inspirational Player. He played a crucial role in helping Lewis to three NCAA National appearances and a Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Championship.
Butch also serves as a coach for HLT Volleyball (Palatine, Ill.) and has also coached for Pipeline.
Some of Butch's responsibilities include player development, data volley, volley metrics and social media.
He received his bachelors degree (music merchandise) from Lewis in 2015 and is working towards his MBA.
