Keith Iverson enters his fifth season on the sidelines of Lewis University men's volleyball.

Iverson has been playing, studying, and coaching volleyball since 1977 and as in the classroom under 4 National team coaches – Jerry Angle, Doug Beal, Bill Neville, and Marv Dunphy (3 have an Olympic Gold Medal), as well as Russ Rose the storied coach of the Women’s team at Penn State.
 
From fall of 1983 to spring of 1993, he was head coach volleyball at Morton High Schools in Berwyn and Cicero.  1983 to roughly 1990 for the girls team and from roughly 1987 to 1993 for the boys team.  
 
During the late 80’s Iverson took coaching accreditation courses from USAV and earned level II accreditation.  At that time, the national team coaches were level IV.
  
As a young player (self-taught except for one 3-day camp), Iverson found most success on the beach. Winning 37 open tournaments across Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Illinois and he played in the Chicago stop of several Pro Tours, but never finished better than fifth. The best team finish at Open National Championships was 11th. 
 
Iverson began playing the age group National Championships in 2011 and has won a bunch of medals playing with guys my own age including 5 gold medals in the last 5 Championships.
 
Iverson has helped lead Lewis to two MIVA championships and two NCAA third place finishes.
