The 2012 season is the second for Kate Taylor as an assistant coach for the Lewis women’s soccer program.

Taylor is the Director of Goalkeeping and staff coach at Legends soccer club. She was formerly an assistant coach at Concordia University. Taylor holds a United States Soccer Federation D license.

Taylor was an All-American goalkeeper at Boston College. She was named the Big East Goalkeeper of the Year in 2003. Taylor started 62 games in four seasons for the Eagles. She recorded 21 career shutouts.

She was a member of the United States Youth National Team. Taylor also played with the U20 Women’s National Champion FC Milwaukee. She was a Wisconsin High School All-America/ Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year

Taylor graduated in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in communiations from Boston
College. She is originally from Menomonee Falls, Wis.
