Jeff Bambule is entering his second season with the Lewis Flyers women’s basketball program as assistant coach under Head Coach Dodie Dunson II. 

In the 2025-26 season, Bambule helped Lewis post an 18-12 overall record, including a 13-7 mark in Great Lakes Valley Conference play, and earn a postseason berth in the GLVC Tournament. Lewis also posted one of the longest winning streaks by any GLVC women’s basketball team that season with 10+ consecutive victories. 

Lewis had three All-Conference selections, including First Team and Second Team honorees, while Ally Cesarini was named Defensive Player of the Year — the first player in program history to earn that distinction. 

Bambule has built an accomplished coaching career spanning more than three decades at the high school, club, and collegiate levels, highlighted by sustained program success and player development. His career includes impactful stops at College of DuPage, Morton College, Montini Catholic High School, and Romeoville High School, where he earned honors such as Region IV Coach of the Year and helped countless student-athletes advance to the collegiate level.
