Barry scored eight runs in the fifth inning and went on to defeat Lewis 17-4 Saturday in the rubber game of a three-game series. The Buccaneers (12-3) struck for four runs, three of them unearned, in the first inning.
The Flyers (1-3) responded with three runs in the second. Ahren Baranski scored on a throwing error, while Matt Newquist and Dave Tolchin scored on groundouts by Mike Smith and Brian Davis.
Lewis tied it in the fifth when Andy Sweet singled with one out, advanced to second on a groundout and scored on Chris Carbonaro (Chicago, Ill./Loyola Academy)'s double to left center.
But Barry chased Flyer starter Matt Tanton in the ill-fated bottom of the inning and added two runs in the sixth, one in the seventh and two in the eighth.
Newquist and Carbonaro each had two hits for the Flyers, who were outhit 18-7.
