Romeoville, Ill. - The No. 13 Lewis men's volleyball team (0-3) heads to Provo, Utah, to take on No. 2 Brigham Young (2-0) on Friday (Jan. 11) and Saturday (Jan. 12) at 7 PM MT.

LAST TIME WE MET - The 2nd-ranked Cougars swept the 14th-ranked Flyers at Neil Carey Arena (26-24, 25-20,25-14) on Feb. 12, 2011. 

POWELL NETS WEEKLY MIVA AWARD- Redshirt sophomore Geoff Powell earned the first Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Offensive Player of the Week award after posting a career-high 26 kills against UC San Diego at the UCSB Asics Invitational. He also led the Flyers with 17 kills against No. 12 California Baptist. 

JAY PETTY CLOSES IN 1000 KILLS - The red-shirt senior began the year with 920 kills at Lewis. After notching 15 kills while in California, he has moved up to 935 and fifth in the rally scoring era at Lewis. Jeff Soler (2002-05) is fourth with 1250 kills. 

FLYERS PRESEASON FAVORITE - Lewis was selected as the preseason favorite to win the 2013 MIVA title on a vote by league coaches. 

THREE FLYERS PRESEASON ALL-MIVA - Fifth-year senior Jay Petty  redshirt junior BJ Boldog and Powell were selected to the Preseason MIVA All-Conference team.
