Romeoville, Ill. – The No. 18 Lewis University women's swimming extended its home dual meet winning streak to three with a 171.5-87.5 victory over William Jewell on Tuesday (Dec. 17) at Lewis Pool.

The Flyers improve to 5-2 on the season and 2-1 in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.

"The team swam strong today against William Jewell," Lewis head women's swimming coach Roger Karns said. "We had a couple of unusual events, with the 50s of each stroke and 100 IM, that most haven't raced since they were 12-years-old.

"Those were some fun races that are still challenging and make the meet enjoyable."
