Romeoville, Ill. - The Lewis University men's basketball team looks to extend its winning streak to three games, as the host Flyers (5-1) take on Cedarville (2-6) for a 3 PM tip-off on Saturday (Dec. 6) at Neil Carey Arena.

LAST TIME WE MET - Lewis junior guard
Ryan Jackson (Bolingbrook, Ill./Riverside-Brookfield) drained a three-pointer with 19 seconds left in overtime, as the visiting Flyers earned the 83-81 (OT) regional road victory over Cedarville on December 7, 2013.
LAST TIME OUT - Lewis held Olivet Nazarene to 36.7% shooting (18-for-49) and forced 20 turnovers on their way to the 75-49 victory over the visiting Tigers at Neil Carey Arena on Wednesday (Dec. 3) night.
TRIPLE THREAT - Jackson has led the Flyers in points, rebounds and assists in a single game, five times during his career.
THE LAST TIME - Lewis freshman guard
Max Strus (Hickory Hills, Ill./Stagg) posted 20 points and 10 rebounds in the 91-62 win over Malone (Nov. 15). He is the first Flyer freshman to score at least 20 points in a game since Jackson did it as a rookie in 2011-12 He is also the first rookie to notch a double-double since his brother Marty Strus (2008-12) accomplished that feat in 2008.
GETTING TO THE LINE - Lewis is 9-0 over the past three seasons when Jackson gets to the free throw line at least 10 times.
SMOKIN' HOT - Lewis has won 34 of its last 43 contests dating back to the 2012-13 campaign for a winning percentage of .791. During that stretch, the Flyers have defeated five teams that were ranked in the NABC/Division II Men's Basketball Poll. The Flyers have won 45 games since the start of the 2012-13 campaign.
PRESEASON PICK - Jackson has received several preseason accolades including Preseason All-American (Basketball Times) and Preseason Honorable Mention All-American (Sporting News; Division II Bulletin).

Gabe Williams (Chicago, Ill./Farragut) are averaging a combined 19.8 points-per-game off the bench, shooting 54.8% (46-for-84) from the field and 48.6% (18-for-37) from three-point range.
300/150 CLUB - Lewis head coach
Scott Trost needs one win to reach 300 for his career and three victories to reach 150 as the Flyers' skipper.
1,000 ON THE HORIZON - Lewis needs 157 points to reach 1,000 for his career.
1,000/700 CLUB - Lewis needs 157 points and 126 rebounds to become the fourth Flyer in school history to notch at least 1,000 points and 700 rebounds in the Division II era.

FROM WAY DOWNTOWN - Lewis shot a scorching 68.8% (11-for-16) from three-point range in their win over Saginaw Valley on November 20th. That was their best three-point performance since they drained 69.2% (9-for-13) of their attempts in a 69-67 win over Indianapolis on February 26, 2011.
FROM WAY DOWNTOWN (PART DEUX) - Lewis has hit at least 10 three-pointers in three games this season. The Flyers needed the entire 2013-14 campaign to achieve that same feat.
FROM WAY DOWNTOWN (PART TROIS) - Lewis is shooting better from three-point range (42.1%) than their opponents are shooting overall (39.5%).

WELCOME TO THE TEAM - Trost announced that he has signed 6-foot-2 combo guard Jake Reinhart to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Flyers beginning in 2015. Reinhart's sister Jess is currently a four-year starter for Lewis' nationally ranked women's basketball team.
