Romeoville, Ill. - The No. 46 Lewis University men's tennis team opens up the spring campaign on Sunday (Feb. 2), as the Flyers head north to Milwaukee to square off with Cardinal Stritch for a 2 PM first serve.

Setting the pace for the Flyers this season will be junior Estonians Armand Levandi (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi) and Erik Aunapuu (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi).

Levandi, who is ranked eighth in the country in singles play, tallied a record of 13-2 this past fall following his fourth-place finish at the USTA/ITA National Small College Singles Championship. In two and a half seasons, Levandi owns a singles record of 48-7 and a combined doubles mark of 49-8.

Levandi and Aunapuu are ranked No. 14 in the Midwest Region as a doubles tandem, as the Estonian duo combined for a record of 3-1 this past fall. Aunapuu is also ranked No. 14 in the Midwest Region in singles action, as he totaled a mark of 6-1 last fall.

Lewis returns the services of senior Philip Kuenzi (Manitowoc, Wis./Roncalli) and welcomes freshmen Chris Jastrab (Kaiserslautern, Germany/Kaiserslautern) and Mate Srdanovic (Split, Croatia/Graditeljsko-Geodetska Tehnicka). Srdanovic had an impressive fall campaign, as he earned five singles victories and a combined four doubles wins.
