No. 46 Lewis Men's Tennis Opens Spring Season With 5-2 Win Over Cardinal Stritch

Levandi, Aunapuu and Srdanovic all earn two wins for the Flyers.

Lewis' Armand Levandi (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi), Erik Aunapuu (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese Spordigumnaasiumi) and Mate Srdanovic (Split, Croatia/Graditeljsko-Geodetska Tehnicka) all earned two victories to key the No. 46 Flyer men's tennis team to the 5-2 season-opening win over Cardinal Stritch at the Elite Sports Club-River Glen on Sunday (Feb. 2) afternoon.

With the win, Lewis improves to 1-0, while the host Wolves fall to 2-4 on the campaign.

Levandi opened with a 6-0, 6-0 whitewash of George Watson at No. 1 singles and paired with Aunapuu for the 8-2 triumph over Raymond Weich and Watson at No. 1 doubles. Aunapuu added a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Weich at No. 2 singles.

Srdanovic dropped Cardinal Stritch's Tommy Vang, 6-0, 6-2, at No. 3 singles and teamed with senior Philip Kuenzi (Manitowoc, Wis./Roncalli) for the 8-2 win over Donnersson Penna and Vang at No. 2 doubles.

Lewis returns to action on February 14th, as they head to Canton, Ohio for a pair of regional matches against both Malone (1 PM ET) and Walsh (6 PM ET).
