Despite the commanding edge in shots, the Flyers were playing catch-up all night. UIS was first on the board when Kim Tokarski found the back of the net at 14:42. Alyssa Manwill assisted on the goal. Lewis tied the score just over 15 minutes later at 31:46 on a tally by senior
Jennie Coughlon (Peoria, Ill./Peoria Notre Dame). Her header goal was assisted by junior
Jessica Chavez (Aurora, Ill./West Aurora). Coughlon's goal was her first of the season. Three minutes from half, UIS' Regina Bolin scored, assisted by Madisyn Coudiet, to put the Prairie Stars up 2-1 at the break.

The Flyers tied the score at 60:49 on a goal by
Lauren Grady (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs), her second of the year, assisted by
Maggie Moran (Arlington Heights, Ill./Rolling Meadows).

Lewis out-shot UIS 5-1 in the 20 extra minutes but couldn't find the back of the net to get the win.

UIS is now 2-4-1 (0-4-1 GLVC). The Flyers are now 1-4-2 (1-3-1 GLVC). Lewis heads to Southern Indiana on Sunday. Â
